JARLSBERG RECIPES>> Quesadilla with Jarlsberg

Jarlsberg in Spanish style, created by The Culinary Institute of Norway, served with Salsa Fresca

2 portion

Ingredients
2 Wheat tortillas
150 gr Jarlsberg Original or Jarlsberg Special Reserve, sliced
150 gr Bacon, fried

Ingredients for Salsa Fresco
2 Tomatoes
1 Shallot
½ Garlic clove
½ Chilli, stones removed
2 tbls Fresh coriander
Juice from 1 Lime
Salt and pepper to taste
Cut everything finely and mix

 

Method
Layer the cheese, bacon and a big spoon of the salsa fresco on half a side of each wheat tortilla, fold the other half side over. Press it together and fry it in a medium hot dry pan for about one minute on each side. Cut each tortilla in four pieces and serve with the rest of the Salsa Fresco on the side.
